Brad Sams and Even Blass are two blabbermouths that exposed images regarding the new upcoming Lumia devices, the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL.

Microsoft is particularly looking at developing the smartphone network and the company is looking forward towards pricing them at a rate higher than ever before, but also making sure that the phones are “worth every penny”.

In a tweet, Evan Bass revealed the possible look of the two phones which are expected to be available in the market before the year ends. The handset, dubbed Talkman, will reportedly be called either “Lumia 940” or “Lumia 950”, whereas the Cityman will apparently be launched as “Lumia 940 XL” or “Lumia 950 XL”. It added that the only distinguishing factor was the color, the 950 was black while the 950 XL was blue.

In a statement T-Mobile provided to the folks at Windows Central, “We work closely with phone manufacturers, including Microsoft, to continually adjust our device portfolio based on supply and customer demand”.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 will feature a 5.2-inch WQHD display with a resolution of 1440x 2560 pixels. When it comes to camera configuration, the Lumia 940 will sport a powerful 20-megapixel PureView rear-facing unit, in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies and video chats.

Both devices are described as “high-end” offerings, with polycarbonate bodies, Qi wireless charging, USB Type-C ports, and Iris scanners.

Softpedia stated that the phones may also come with “on-screen keys instead of capacitive keys”. “First off, you rid yourself of those annoying accidental presses, and secondly, once you’re not using these keys, they quickly vanish into thin air”. The Lumia 950 will be powered by Microsoft’s new Windows 10 Mobile operating system, which will bring biometric technology for unlocking the device.
