John Kasich cast himself as a voice of a reason amid a crowded Republican presidential field on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” Tuesday night, saying he was the adult onstage during last week’s raucous GOP debate. Seth takes his departure from SNL to his new post at “Late Night” as Jimmy Fallon moves to “The Tonight Show“. Though Timberlake manages to work his allegiance to Fallon into the sketch, we would not be surprised if Fallon stopped liking Timberlake’s Instagrams for a few days and decided not to respond to his “hoops this weekend??” text, just to make a point. “I was just trying not to crash my auto into the wall. My mother, I mean, her mother couldn’t speak English and I’m on stage with a bunch of people running for president of the United States”, he said.

“The first debate was a little more orderly and went well”. If you need a couple bucks to stand there to the very end, I’m going to chip in a couple bucks. Enough to get you to each debate. “Get ready, everybody”, he said.

“Do you know what a demolition derby is?” “That’s when I knew it was time to leave”. Then, referencing Kasich’s Pennsylvania roots: “You’re a Steelers fan who lives in Ohio”.
