Jose Bautista blasts Yost on Twitter; Ventura responds, then deletes

The blossoming rivalry between the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals looks like it’s already extended to broadcasters, too. This bench-warning system is possibly the dumbest, least effective thing in the history of sports, and it caused a whole lot of problems later in the game, including more hit batsmen and the benches clearing.

Ventura’s target was a odd one.

You may have heard that things got heated between the Blue Jays and Royals yesterday. Yordano Ventura responded with a few tweets of his own (which have since been deleted) directed at Bautista.

Basically, he’s saying all is well before wishing Ventura luck with the rest of the season.

Because nothing on social media is ever truly gone, those tweets were translated, and they were not complimentary of Bautista.

The tweets were soon deleted. I don’t care about anybody. Keep running your mouth. However, no one should mistake that for the pitcher coming off of his feelings.

“I live up to what I said I don’t have fear I don’t know what that is I lost it when I was 10 years old and they left me in the middle of the sea and I got out.”

Unfortunately, as Zaun points out, the two teams won’t meet again this season.
