An archive clip, which was played at the Channel Four’s show, “It Was Alright In The 1960s” on September 20, Saturday, has once again spurred the fury among the viewers as it depicted the legendary musician making fun of disables people by making exaggerated movements in an offensive manner, Daily Mail reported.
The video of Lennon elicited a strong response on social media and was criticised by the learning disability charity Mencap.
“Times may have changed but I always find it hard to believe how such famous people can have these disgusting views about real people”, said Ms Bellamy.
