J.K. Rowling – queen of serene smiles, Twitter sass and post-series exposition – has moved her site Pottermore into the future with a new revamped makeover. In this light, the history recently released by J.K. Rowling is said to have delivered a different avenue, CNN shared.
J.K. Rowling has written a new article for the Pottermore site, going into the family history of the Potter family.
HARRY Potter fans have had a long wait for fresh material, but 2016 is shaping up as a year of resurgence for the Potterverse.
Just when we thought it’s all over, J.K. Rowling finally surprised us with a dose of a Harry Potter spin-off. It was their outspoken support of Muggles that largely contributed to the Potter family’s exclusion from the “Sacred Twenty-Eight”, a list of the British families that were still “truly pure-blood” by the 1930s.
“The fascinating story of the Potter family, from the author herself, will enthrall everyone interested in this world”, says Susan Jurevics, Chief Executive Officer of Pottermore.
In ye olden times when names were formed, Harry’s ancestors were actually given the surname Potterer, because one chap named Linfred liked to potter around his garden.
Linfred’s remedies were the early versions of popular potions like Skele-gro and Pepperup Potion, and his life’s work left his children a sizable inheritance.
Another is that the Potter fortune was made off potions. The eldest son, Hardwin, married Iolanthe Peverell, a native of Godric’s Hollow and the granddaughter of Ignotus Peverell, inherited her family’s invisibility cloak.
After inheriting the cloak, Iolanthe broke tradition and from then on the Deathly Hallow was passed on to the eldest child in each new generation. During his time, Henry admonished Archer Evermonde, the Minister for Magic who issued a neutral stance from helping any Muggle in the First World War.
The news was greeted with mixed reactions, with many fans sharing their excitement, while others epxressed concerns about the cost and practicality of attending two separate performances, especially in the case of global fans.
