Now it all seems to be confirmed with one image, first dug up by AndroidPit, which seems to be an official Google press image of the device we’ve seen in leaks before.

According to a report from TechRadar, the Nexus 5 2015 will actually be released on September 29, 2015.

Google’s new Nexus 5 has shown off its rear-end in a new image courtesy of AndroidPIT. Before then you might also like to check out some recent leaked-huawei-nexus-2015/49772/”>images that purportedly show the Huawei Nexus 6.

We here at Ausdroid are hearing that the Huawei Nexus will in fact have a 5.7in display, thereby differentiating itself markedly from the 5.2in display on the upcoming LG Nexus phone.

Besides that minor detail, the leaked image looks to be “the real McCoy”. The Google Nexus 5 (2015), or the Nexus 5X, is expected to feature a plastic back and a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. However, we should say that prices on Zauba are merely an indicator. Though the tipster warned Android Authority that this isn’t the final price yet and that it might change once the handset gets released, the tech news website is still confident with the accuracy of their report.

If that’s accurate and the Nexus 5 2015 will be in the same price range as the OnePlus 2, OnePlus might want to rethink the whole invite system and sell as many units as fast as possible, because people are raving about the Nexus 5 2015 and they want it no matter what. As is the fingerprint sensor that’s been long-rumoured, which is positioned just below a raised camera lens (which we’re expecting to be a 13MP shooter), an auto-focus module and an LED flash. Apparently, the Nexus 5 2015 will be running on a Snapdragon 808 CPU, although some suggest LG and Google going with the Snapdragon 810. The front of the phone will supposedly be black, giving the Nexus 5 a panda color scheme. These sightings don’t always give a lot of information other than a few key specs, and the upcoming Huawei Nexus is shown as having 3GB of RAM and 4G LTE support.
