In a shocking turn out of events, Rebecca’s murderer was revealed to be Bonnie (Liza Weil), Annalise Keating’s (Viola Davis) right hand. There were tons of moments you couldn’t miss.

“How to Get Away with Murder” returns to ABC on Thursday night at 10/9c on ABC.

There were a variety of different surprises that unfolded over the course of the season 2 premiere of “How to Get Away with Murder“, whether it be learning the truth about Bonnie as Rebecca’s killer or seeing Annalise Keating shot in the flash-forward that took place at the end of the premiere. And while suspicion generally fell on Rebecca (Katie Findlay) and Sam (Tom Verica), it was Frank (Charlie Weber) who did the deed. Did Annalise just manipulate her ex to save her other ex, or does she have feelings for Eve?

She is smart. She knew Rebecca was dead in the premiere.

How to Get Away with Murder revved it into high gear with the season two premiere entitled, “It’s Time to Move On”.

As Annalise sells herself to them: I was accused of killing my husband, and I’m off. I can get you off. What a sales pitch.

Meanwhile Frank is still trying to figure out who killed Rebecca. The students think he is dead, but he comes back to life and attempts to strangle Rebecca. This season kicks off with Annalise lecturing her class when Wes shows up late with an attitude. Annalise’s past with Eve isn’t random or out of nowhere. Also because it has the peplum design, it makes it all the more fun.

1) Annalise Keating is the motherf*cking boss.

. Once Janssen was announced, I had an idea that the number on the card Annalise handed to Nate was going to belong to her. Like Bonnie, it seems Eve has a very co-dependent relationship with Annalise (more on the other aspect of this below in the “what did surprise me” section). When she’s not berating Sam or having rough sex with him, she beds hunky detective Nate.

When Eggs 911 replied, does he or she realize they’re not texting Rebecca? Wes keeps looking up for missing person reports on the internet.

There was a huge move in Connor doubling down on their relationship even when Oliver wasn’t that sure. Asher is done with Bonnie. She blamed Rebecca for Sam’s death and suffocated the life out of the kidnapped bartender. There’s your mystery for the next 15 weeks, people. We’ll have to wait and see.

We cut to two months later, and if they’re in bed together, I’m out – oh.

Watch How to Get Away with Murder 10/9CT Thursdays on ABC. Plenty of people were implicated in Sam’s slaying and its coverup, which means Rebecca’s killer could be just about anyone. She’s pleading with her killer to stop, but he or she won’t listen.

Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch): By the end of the season, naive Wes is just as conniving as Annalise. He wants to know what her deal is and how Annalise got her involved. To do this, Laurel procured alleged evidence and slipped it to their lawyer in the ladies room. During the trial, the prosecution’s eye witness, the aunt of the Hapstall children, is killed which makes the children look like prime suspects.

Dying on the floor: In the flashfoward, we find ourselves at the Halpstall mansion. It’s a huge question: Who shot Annalise? We again hear Annalise’s voiceover about how if you’re murdered, it’s likely someone you know, even your LUVAH, and she speculates as to why that’s the case.

Back at the Keating house, tensions are strong as the group continues to blame Wes for letting Rebecca get away and Michaela remains angry at Laurel for what she did with her engagement ring. I love the fact that although it is floral, it is still in line with her style.

I won’t say always knew, but I did always feel that pull, because I really understood why she did it, especially with her tie toward Sam. Part of me was wanting it to not be her, because I felt that so strongly.
