Typically quiet Castro Valley, in the East Bay, saw a double homicide Monday afternoon.
Sheriff’s officials said at around 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call at a residence at the Chetwood Crest Mobile Homes Park located on 3919 Castro Valley Blvd.
“We’ve heard that he might be a son or stepson of the victims, but we’re investigating all of that”, Nelson said. The person said one of the two were expected and didn’t show up.
Nelson could not immediately say how the two victims were killed but said deputies detained the third person and were questioning that person in the double homicide. Detectives are questioning a man in his 30s who may be a relative of the victims and they’re also trying to determine if he lived at the mobile home.
A man and a woman were found dead in what authorities described as a “bloody crime scene” in a Castro Valley mobile home Monday.
“I don’t know if he’s the one that did it but he’s been having mental problems”.
Sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Kelly could not disclose how the victims were murdered but he described it as a brutal scene.
She had been battling an illness while she helped her grown son try to find a job, Friese said.
Pending further investigation, sheriff’s deputies are withholding the release of more information.
