It is understood that her unborn child also passed away, according to the Daily Mail.

Confirming the sad news on Wednesday (09Sep15), a spokesperson for the clothing company released a statement which reads: “This is a personal matter for David Reiss and his family”.

Debra is survived by her partner Zane and their daughter Scarlett.

“Save to say that the ideas of everybody at Reiss are with David and his household at this unhappy time”. “Heaven has gained 2 more angels RIP”.

Her father David Reiss, 72, started work as a fashion agent in 1965 before taking over his late-father’s tailoring shop in the East End.

Another friend wrote: “Heaven has gained another special angel and her baby”. Thinking of her family at such a horrendous time.

The 34-year-old was serving as the brand director of the British retailer that has become a favorite of Kate Middleton who wore Reiss dresses for her engagement photo and to meet the Obama’s. Now, Reiss designs can be found in New York’s Bloomingdales and 14 other countries.

Ms Reiss talks about the company in a promotional video as part of her role as brand manager.

Reiss received a tremendous boost in sales and interest due to their most high-profile client, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton. Overnight we have this massive brand recognition. She later selected a nude-coloured Reiss gown when she met the Obamas and has been steadily noticed within the retailer’s coats.
