 The data below includes the status of Kilauea volcanic activity, which was prepared by the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO). Monday, September 7, 2015 9:00 AM HST.

Regarding Kilauea Volcano (VNUM #332010):
19°25’16” N 155°17’13” W, Summit Elevation 4091 ft (1247 m)
Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE

The lava lake at Kīlauea’s summit remains active. Summit tiltmeters recorded no change in ground tilt. The East Rift Zone lava flow northeast of Puʻu ʻŌʻō remains active within 8 km (5 mi) of the vent and does not currently pose a threat to communities. Normal levels of seismic activity continue across the volcano.
