Hands-On With The 3rd-Gen Motorola Moto G

Motorola has just announced the launch of its 3rd Gen Moto G smartphone at an event in London.

The Motorola Moto G third generation smartphone is not expected for another few months, but does Flipkart already have information on the device?

After a string of speculations and leaks, Motorola has officially launched the 2015 Moto G through a launch event in New Delhi.

The Moto G (3rd Generation) will be available for purchase in two variants: one with 1GB RAM and 8GB in-built storage for Rs.

The Redmond pie stated that the Digitec’s product page indicates that the new Moto G will pack quite a punch for what is traditionally a mid-range price point smartphone.

The Moto X Play has a 5.5-inch 1080p display and a massive 3630mAh battery, along with the requisite octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and a water-repellant coating. Other features include a 4G LTE, a 20% beefier battery at 2,470 mAh and an expandable microSD slot.

The 2015 Moto G comes with a 13MP rear camera with multilayer IR filter and f/2.0 aperture. The former is meant to be Motorola’s new flagship phone, so let’s start with that one.

And in the final seconds of the teaser video, Motorola confirms that the company will offer choices to prospective buyers to select accent colour, rear-casing and front-panel for their Moto G (2015).

Finally, the Moto X Play was announced to have the largest battery of the Moto range, at 3630mAh. Moto Maker is also expanding to Brazil this year.

The Moto X Play is a slightly smaller version of the Moto X Style. This is actually the same camera that the company has used in the Moto X style. 9500 & Rs. 10349 for the 1 GB & 2 GB variants Respectively.The India invite of the Motorola reads, “A good friend will offer you their umbrella”. Its CPU will be backed up by 2GB of RAM while the storage is expected to have a 16GB memory capacity.

All three phones run the latest version of Android, 5.1.1 Lollipop, which Motorola is emphasising – in line with previous Moto releases – will not be customised with skins or additional pre-installed apps.
