It offers free and unlimited online photo storage of photos, and comes with intuitive uploading software that pulls all of your pictures into the cloud. It then came up a number of other features to make the app even better.

Google Photos, the search company’s photo and video sharing application, has announced a new feature to help draw in new and existing users. Now Google is launching a similar feature for its Google Photos app, but instead of being just copy-paste, it will also try adding to the formula.

The interesting thing about Rediscover the Day is the fact that Google plans in the future to make the feature discern between really important pictures and fillers.

“Today, Google Photos is introducing a new opt-in feature where you can choose to privately rediscover your memories from the past”. According to a report from Tech Crunch, the company has been encouraging users to upload old photos from their thumb drives, CDs, DVDs, and even undeveloped film so that they can present their latest creation. The event featured demonstrations of Google’s Search, Maps, Photos, Translate and YouTube apps along with appearances from celebrities such as celebrity chef Kunal Kapur, fashion photographer Dabboo Ratnani and Anushka Menon and YouTube comedic sensation Karan Talwar. Share with whoever you want, howeveryou want, whether that’s via email, a social network, or by showing the person next to you. Document editing app now will let users to see the preview of the current notes which helps them get an idea of how the documents will look after getting printed. The feature is live on the Web and iOS, and is gradually rolling out for Android.
