Though the first wave of devices included the plastic, Pebble-looking LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live, these days we have the LG Urbane and the Huawei Watch.

There will be three Fossil Q products, according to the company.

While we’ll be sure to keep you all in the loop with the launch of these new Fossil wearables, the company does have the option to register your interest, should you be holding out to purchase one.

For enterprises users, the fact that the Fossil Q does not need a particular brand of smartphone to function and that it provides notification management should prove attractive.

Fossil says its connected accessories will be compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows software.

Fossil has teased their new smart watch, the Android Ware-based Fossil Q.

Details are still scarce, but at least we now know what it will look like thanks to a blog post from the watch makers. As far as compatibly goes, it’s unlikely that the Android Wear watch will work with Windows devices since Google has been notoriously closed-off to Microsoft programs and services.

While there’s no official release date for Fossil Q, the range is expected to go on sale for this year’s holiday season.

Via a companion app and activity tracker, users can track daily movement, manage notifications and “join a community of curious-minded individuals”, a Fossil blog post noted.
