They were allegedly enclosed in a cage within Oviedo’s family house in the coastal town of Mar del Plata, around 400 kilometres south of the capital, Buenos Aires.
Prosecutor Alejandro Pellegrini said police acted after two of Oviedo’s other children told authorities about his treatment of their brother and the woman.
The man’s 61-year-old wife suffers from psychological problems and his 32-year-old son is autistic.
The prosecutor also claimed the wife and son were kept in there by day – and slept in another filthy room by night.
Oviedo was arrested on Friday and brought before a judge yesterday. Mr Pellegrini said that Oveido will undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
If found guilty he could face 15 years in prison, potentially extended to a life sentence due to aggravating circumstances. But eventually they reported him.
In accordance with, Oviedo was “satisfied” that he was serving to his son overcome his situation.
His victims are in hospital and it is unknown just how long he kept them captive is such squalid conditions.
Oviedo did not resist arrest when police raided the house.
Oviedo, 66, denies the charges of unlawful imprisonment.
The 53-year-old is accused of raping the woman and violently threatening their illegitimate children if they reported him.
Manuel Ontiveros, from the city’s police sex crime unit, said: “The complainant stated the girl had no boyfriend and it was the father who had abused her and got her pregnant”.
