Dropbox Now Lets You Drag And Drop URLs To Share Webpages

This feature is useful if, for instance, you want to save links at work and read them on your commute or at home.

Following on from the rollout out of U2F Security Key support earlier this month, Dropbox has this week announced the rollout of a new feature it has added to its service for users to enjoy.

Dropbox has released an update with a feature that allows the users to drag and drop URLs to save them.

You can already try out this new feature on the web and desktop version of Dropbox. This can be possible simply by dragging and dropping URLs and is available on desktop as well as mobile devices running on Android and iOS platforms. So having the ability to save URLs on certain folders would certainly make life a little bit easier as you can take your bookmarks wherever you go (well, as long as you have internet connection that is). Your event agency uses Word documents, and your marketing team puts everything in an online company wiki.

It will help users to store all the information into Dropbox folders, allowing them to put everything that is needed in one place but in different formats.

Dropbox users can keep all their URLs they need in one folder so they can access them on any computer. Mind you, it won’t store or cache any files from the web, it’s just a link to the web page (although there are third-party apps out there that do this).
