Dragon’s Dogma Online will be a free-to-play Japan-exclusive game, and it will arrive on the PS4, PS3 and PC only.
That hasn’t been an option yet, but it will be next year.
For the first time ever in the west, the popular and critically acclaimed Dragon’s Dogma series will be coming to Windows PC in January 2016.
In a new press release sent to us a few minutes ago, the Japanese publisher has confirmed that Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen will be released on PC on January 15th. These Pawns will find independently of you, but learn their style and ability from traits that you show during gameplay.
With the game heavily inspired by Western role playing games, many expected Capcom to port Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen on PC.
Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is the next exciting chapter in the Dragon’s Dogma franchise delivering a huge brand new area, missions, enemies and more, plus all of the content from the original game. PC users can share these Pawns online and reap rewards of treasure and tips and strategy hints for taking down the terrifying enemies. Pawns will also be able to be borrowed to perform specific skills and challenging tasks.
No other details were yet announced, but it is hoped that a lot of issues with the game – such as the lack of a quick travel system, for instance – will be fixed with this re-release.
