The studio had done the impossible and created two sequels each more satisfying than the last. Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie.

Fans of Pixar Animation’s franchise, “Toy Story” will definitely feel the love as Disney’s John Lasseter revealed that “Toy Story 4” will evolve around the love story of Woody and Bo Peep. In Toy Story 4 Woody and astronaut buddy Buzz will team up to find her. It turns out…..yes, that’s exactly what it is. By commanding the directorial reins again, Toy Story 4 will be Lasseter’s first personally helmed film since Cars 2, and it’s one he seems to have a clear vision for.

Oscar winning songwriter and composer Randy Newman will be back for the film, and he joined Lasseter on stage, sitting at a piano to sing Toy Story classic “You’ve got a Friend in Me”. “That’s our rule. We don’t do things just to print money”, he told CNBC. Bo’s returned for Toy Story 4.

“Each of the stories is a different genre”, Lasseter said via IGN.

The Disney D23 Expo is now going on in California, with that will come a lot of big Disney related reveals throughout the weekend.

“Toy Story 4“, which will be directed by Lasseter and produced by Susman and is scheduled to release on June 16, 2017.

“I’d seen it portrayed in folk art. It was something about the juxtaposition of skeletons with bright, festive colors that captured my imagination”, Unkrich said of the film. “In this world, we meet up with a very special family of T-Rexes, who help Arlo find a way through his personal fears and ultimately teach Arlo what he’s truly made of”.
