Xur’s exotic weapon this week is the Hawkmoon, one of the former PlayStation exclusives that have gone platform agnostic with Destiny: The Taken King. Bungie gave out the patch notes that include several fixes within the game as well as some of its general information and introduction.

Under “Activities”, some fixes on the quests have also been updated. Perhaps it’s even worth picking up multiples for Infusion fuel, especially for players who have yet to eclipse 280 in Light Level. “High Value Targets” will now correctly reward Legendary Marks when completing the respective quest.

When used with more time between kills, they remain as effective as before.

Most of update 2.0.0.4 deals with resolving various bugs. Interestingly, there’s no mention of the fix/nerf to the recently discovered Black Spindle. Have you seen any new Exotic farming techniques? Beyond the legacy engrams, Xur also had something else on his shelves: The Three of Coins. It thus becomes more beneficial to use the Three of Coins between missions or when running the Strike playlist to ensure a better rise in Exotic drop rate.

An item which could drastically increase your chances of earning an Exotic engram from a fallen Ultra boss, the Three of Coins quickly found itself sold out when Guardians figured out a loophole that allowed them to farm bosses when the buff was applied.
