Delhi: Man passes lewd comments, threatens with dire consequences, claims woman

The woman said when she was at the Tilak Nagar road at 8:00 pm on Sunday stopped for the Red Signal when she was right in front of the vehicle of the man and she was about to get hurt as he did not stopped for the Red Signal she told him to stop. As the young girl made a decision to take an action against him after clicking his picture, he threatened her of the consequences for the same. “Complaint karke dikha, fir dekhiyo kya karta hun main” (Do whatever you can, File A Complaint And Then See What I’ll Do To You).

“We have registered an FIR against the biker under sections 354(a), 506 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code”. The post has since gone viral and has been shared over 20,000 times within 15 hours of being posted. The incident took place around 8 pm on Sunday at a busy traffic intersection in Tilak Nagar.

“The boy was on silver colour Royal Enfield – DL 4S CE 3623”.

She said not his obscene comments but the silence of the people present around there triggered her to share the incident on Facebook.

When the girl, Jasleen Kaur, raised an objection and threatened to lodge a complaint against, the boy said – “Jo kar sakti hai kar le”. The victim said, “I am disturbed by the incident as no one came to help me when he was abusing me”. She also congratulated her for standing up against sexual harassment and for confronting the offender.

A case in this connection has been registered at Tilak Nagar police station and a hunt initiated for the accused who has been identified as Dileep Singh, a resident of Paschimpuri in west Delhi.
