On July 8, Erin Niccole Jones, a 28-year-old Forsyth County 911 communications officer, was shot to death by her 43-year-old live-in boyfriend at their home on Maple Hill Drive in downtown Dawsonville.
The home is near the Olde Atlanta Club, a golf course community of $500,000 homes along the Chattahoochee River.
Sheriff’s officials planned to release more details of the shooting during a 10 a.m. briefing at True Way Baptist Church, a small congregation directly across the road from the house where the bodies were found. Two people were taken to the hospital where one of them died, according to WGCL. It’s not clear where inside the home the others were shot.
Doyle says the suspect is known among officers from previous arrests.
