The 34-year-old Swede has been linked with a move to former club AC Milan this summer, although PSG manager Laurent Blanc has stated that he does not want to see the striker leave Paris.

Ibrahimovic played for the Diavolo for two seasons between 2010 and 2012 helping them win the 2010-11 Serie A title under current Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.

PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic could rejoin AC Milan after a major hint over his future from club president Silvio Berlusconi, in an interview with Sky Italia. The Times reports that the Canaries have earmarked a new striker as their main priority before the transfer window slams shut, and a move for Destro would be a good short-term solution for both parties.

Berlusconi, who has agreed a deal to sell 48 percent of the club to Bee Taechaubol, said on Monday he would welcome Ibrahimovic, 33, back at the San Siro “with open arms.”

With Ibrahimovic in the side, Sinisa Mihajlovic’s team would be at minimum be expected to qualify for the Champions League, something that was missed out on last campaign after a tenth placed league finish.

Milan has already brought in Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano to strengthen the front line this summer, with midfielders Alessandro Bertolacci and Jose Mauri and defender Alessio Romagnoli also signed.
