On Sunday, the 43-year-old actress stopped by Watch What Happens Live! to chat with host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Mark Consuelos when she played the fan favorite game Plead The Fifth. Andy Cohen asked who that guy was, but she wouldn’t reveal it.

“[Have you ever gone] swimming in the lady pool?” asked Cohen.

Christina recently opened up about her feelings on being cancer-free, seven years after she underwent a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. “Women are handsome. Just not my cup of lady pond”.

“I have to plead the fifth on that one”, said Applegate. “In your files there was much talk of a date with Brad Pitt to the MTV Movie Awards in 1989″, Cohen told the nervous-looking actress, adding that the reports included claims from Applegate that she had ditched the date.

“You ditched him for another guy?” asked Andy.

Applegate tried to evade the question about Pitt.

A shocked Applegate asked, “How many fifths do I get?”

When Cohen asked if the sparks with the “By the Sea” actor ever rekindled, Applegate replied with a firm, “No”.

It seemed pretty apparent that the “Married… with Children” alum did not want to name any names, but she did give some details about her mystery man.

But, she did say he was not an actor, but was known to the public.

But Christina was more talkative about something she does regret.

Applegate, who is friends with Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, was tight-lipped.

Now promoting her new film Vacation, Applegate recalled getting the script. She says the experience and her subsequent recovery means she doesn’t take life for granted. “I got scared of kind of repeating myself”.
