Chelsea secure work permit for talented £6.7m-rated promising Brazilian winger

Kenedy, 19, impressed manager Jose Mourinho on Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States last month after the Blues found an agreement on a £6.7million deal with his Brazilian club.

Kenedy is capable of playing anywhere across the frontline, featuring at centre-forward on numerous occasions at club level, but will most likely primarily be used as a right winger at Chelsea.

But the Daily Mail reports Kenedy, who has granted special permission to face the Spanish giants, has finally recieved a work permit and will now continue his development at Stamford Bridge.

Should Kenedy be handed a first team role this season, he will increase the South American influence at the club which includes the likes of Oscar, Willian, Juan Cuadrado and Brazil-born striker Diego Costa.

However, it appears that they have now managed to meet the requirements, meaning that Kenedy should now be able to help Mourinho’s men as they attempt to retain their league crown.

Mourinho said: “We have conditions to get him a work permit because we want him”.

“He’s a very young kid that we believe a lot in, hopefully”. It was a great night for the kid and a great experience’.

He will be Chelsea’s fifth signing of the summer after Radamel Falcao and Asmir Begovic along with Nathan and Danilo Pantic, who have been sent out on loan.
