Chelsea Clinton to NBC: ‘I’m a Daughter, Not a Pundit’

Support for Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton has fallen 21-percentage points since July, from 63 percent to 42 percent, based on a new poll conducted jointly by the Washington Post and ABC News.

When Vice President Joe Biden was added as a potential candidate, both Clinton and Sanders numbers dropped equally, but Clinton still command a comfortable lead. Chelsea Clinton was asked about those polls on NBC’s “Today” show.

All Republican and Democratic candidates have been invited to appear on “American Forum”. “I feel very confident about where we are in the campaign and very committed to doing everything I can to make my case as effectively as possible to women and men, and I think that will be successful”.

Clinton says she believes that it’s a great thing there is so much interest on the democratic side- and she looks forward to the debate, next month. Clinton notched 46 percent in the state, with Sanders recording 23 percent of support in the state. Bernie Sanders has begun climbing the polls. If Clinton can hold on, the likelihood that she faces Trump in a general election match up is growing by the day.

According to CBS News, a majority of voters polled (73%) in the three early states said that Clinton’s use of private email server during her time as secretary of state does not matter in their support.

Almost 60 percent of Republicans now say they prefer the next president to have experience that comes from outside the political establishment. Clinton said Republican calls to cut off taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood are “dead wrong for 21st century America“.

The point of Clinton’s event was to discuss on campus sexual assaults, an issue Clinton said needs to get more attention.

YouGov/CBS polls recently revealed the Vermont senator has 52 percent support among Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire, while the former Secretary of State receives 30%.
