Last yr he topped the Forbes DJ list with $66m (£41.8m) in earnings & his profession shows no sign of slowing down with usual gigs across the world, Forbes stated. The Blame hitmaker has been named the highest-paid DJ in the world for the third year running.

It must be said that while these guys earn a ton of money, majority invest a considerable amount of it back into record labels and live production, which needs to top notch or else they won’t remain among the elite DJs.

“Love-life aside, Harris has had a pretty good year at the office and is once again the worlds highest-paid electronic dance music artist. I happened to be in the right place at the right time”, Harris tells the magazine.

He apparently made $66million past year, putting his earnings a full $29million above number two in the list – David Guetta, who racked up $37million.

Harris, who’s going out with Taylor Swift, hit headlines recently after a row on Twitter with former One Direction member, Zayn Malik. Coupled with his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s colossal earnings, the pair have dethroned Jay-Z and Beyonce to become the biggest power couple in the music industry.

Calvin was also enjoying some down time last week, as he was spotted back in his hometown of Dumfries.

In joint eighth place, 19-year-old Dutch teenager Martin Garrix is the youngest in the top 10 with estimated earnings of $17m.

Calvin Harris topped Forbes list of the world’s highest paid DJs for 12 months ending June 1, 2015.
