The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Tennessee Titans in Week One of many National Football League usual season on Sunday, September 13, kick off time at four:25 PM ET, at Raymond James StadiumTampa, Fla.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Griffin was among the last players let go Saturday by the Saints, who signed him as an undrafted free agent following the 2013 Draft. He has also been with the Redskins, Bills, Lions and Rams.

To make room for the newcomers, the Bucs released linebacker Jason Williams and waived tight end Cameron Brate, guard Kadeem Edwards, tackle Reid Fragel and wide receiver Rannell Hall. He was a four-year starter at Tulane, where he finished as the school’s all-time leader in attempts, completions and completion percentage.

George (5-11, 234) is a native of Clearwater.

In his career, Jennings has played in 131 regular-season games (95 starts), totaling 437 tackles, 78 passes defensed, 20 interceptions (279 return yards, three touchdowns), nine forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries (17 return yards) and 26 special teams tackles. He spent the 2012 season with Cleveland, before being claimed off of waivers by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, where he played for the past two seasons. He was a fifth-round pick of the New York Jets in 2014 out of Iowa State.

The Bucs announced the move Monday, when they also signed eight players to the practice squad, including sixth-round draft pick Kaelin Clay. George spent the 2014 offseason and preseason with the Jets, before being placed on the team’s practice squad.

As it stands, the Bucs will open the season with only three tackles on roster – rookie Donovan Smith as the starting left tackle, Cherilus at right tackle and second-year pro Kevin Pamphile as the backup at both spots.
