But, in a similar vein to The Representation Project’s #AskHerMore campaign, fellow feminist organisation Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls made a huge effort this year to curb the inane questions hurled at women in particular.
Britney Spears meanwhile asked, ‘Is there one book you’ve read as an adult that you wish you could share with your younger self?’, while TV maven Shonda Rhimes wanted to know, ‘what is the best piece of career advice someone has given to you?’.
When asked which actress he believed should be more recognised for her work, actor Liev Schreiber nominated his wife and date for the evening, Aussie Naomi Watts. “Thank you for not asking me what I am wearing”, Poelher said in the 26-second video posted on Twitter.
