The tide is shifting on Bachelor in Paradise.

The previous episode featured the drama between Joe Bailey and Samantha Steffen when the latter dumped the former just before his birthday.

“Bachelor in Paradise” is many things. Between calling her a chessmaster spider woman from hell and a praying mantis that rips men’s heads off after she’s done with them, Tanner’s also clearly got a lot of issues with Samantha picking Dan the Libra and effectively saving herself from Cartoon Villain Joe.

Sunday’s Bachelor in Paradise brought back franchise journeyman Chris Bukowski, and he made the most of it. Instead of trying to establish a romantic connection with someone, Chris decided to just get drunk. He’s been on The Bachelorette (almost twice when he showed up randomly in Andi’s season and asked to join), Bachelor Pad, and even last year’s inaugural season of Bachelor in Paradise. To intensify the drama between the two, Justin Reich had to join the show.

So now that Amber and Dan have kinda broken up, and Dan’s already burned his bridge with Ashley Salter, he’s left hunting for roses since the girls are handing them out this week. Do you think Samantha is really that into Nick, or is she just into being in the spotlight?

And now, “terrified” that new arrival Jaclyn Schwartz is going to “steal” Jared from her, though Jared ended things with her in last week’s episode, Ashley I.is coming up with her bold next move on the ABC reality hit.

All class, that guy. She told Justin she didn’t want to go on the date, and made up with Joe. He said it best after the commercial break. If she and Joe had just said, “Hey, we did this, but we want to be together” it’s pretty hard to fight against that. Pretty much everyone, but most especially Joe, was shocked. You nearly start to feel sorry for him. Although none of them got it right, Oz predicted the outcome hours before by posting an Instagram video stating the exact results of the trick, baffling everyone. He just wanted Samantha. “You literally fell into a really bad situation”. Did he make massive mistakes?

Samantha Changes Her Mind… Carly naturally chose Kirk, while Jade gave her rose to Tanner. Is Jared putting up with Ashley I? Harrison: Ashley’s soul will continue to crumble. “It’s no fault of yours, I promise you”, he advised Sam as she cried crocodile tears. With Jared out of the pool of available men, Amber settles for Justin. Now that he’s re-emerged, he’ll try to get back out there. Honestly, that will go down as the biggest surprise to me in Paradise. Well, Chris Bukowski is out of Paradise and claims to be retiring from reality TV, but who knows? But Dan is a good guy, a sweet man, and he’s a professional. Harrison: I even said when he showed up, “Why would you do this to yourself again?” You wasted time making that book?
