The Cupertino-based tech giant normally launches its latest iPhone lines in September. Regardless, it wouldn’t be the first time Apple created a keyboard meant for the iPad, with the company having released one for the first-generation iPad back in 2010.

Aside from the iPad Pro, the iPad Mini 4 is something that could be out as well.

Last month, a new discovery regarding the new Apple Wireless Keyboard was made in the US Federal Communications Commission, the stated accessory will reportedly be equipped with Bluetooth 4.2 and a rechargeable lithium-on battery.

U.S. electronics retailer Best Buy is selling the different storage variants of iPad Air 2 this week by slashing up to $100 off the price.

ZDNet covered a recent TrendForce survey which indicated that the significant fall in the mini-tablet market, partially caused by larger phones such as the iPhone 6s, will not be offset by the growing success of larger form tablets such as the Surface Pro, and the upcoming Apple iPad Pro.

The discount applies to most of the models of the iPad Mini 3, from the most basic 16GB Wi-Fi only model to the most expensive 128GB Wi-Fi and cellular model.

This week, as Samsung hinted that it has a big tablet/laptop hybrid called the Galaxy View in the works, rumors have emerged that Apple is all set to announce its huge tablet in the form of the iPad Pro on September 9, along with the new iPhones. The iPad Air 3 will also sport a sleeker and slimmer build compared its predecessor, the iPad Air 2.

As for features, the iPad Pro will boast of an A9 processor, 2 GB of RAM, a ForceTouch-based Stylus, powerful speakers, and maybe USB 3.0 ports. The new iPad Mini variant will be 7.9 inches in size and this could somehow pull it abreast with the iPad Air 2, which may have a successor only by 2016.

As for the iPad Mini 4, it is expected to have a better chipset, which will allow it to run apps in split screen mode.

Apple has perhaps one of the best chances to buck the trend towards declining tablet sales, with Forbes also reporting on rumors that the iPhone 6s will feature iOS 9, pared with upgrades including dynamic wallpaper.
