No, Apple still hasn’t introduced this year’s new iPhones, which are widely expected to be called iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
As we make our way into the summer, we’re starting to hear more and more about Apple’s plans for the fall. The larger-sized iPhone 6 Plus kept the highest share since launch, signifying its high popularity while two-year-old iPhone 5S stayed at the lowest level in two years.
Apfelpage.de has spotted early iPhone 6s pre-orders at German carrier Deutsche Telekom. The company did the same before the arrival of the iPhone 4s back in 2011. However, the reservation system is likely to be valid only in Germany.
Deutsche Telekom doesn’t mention the new devices by name, but the timing of its new service is certainly fortuitous.
Customers who sign up for the next-gen devices will get a preferred delivery, claims Deutsche Telekom.
The retailer did not list any case for the rumored Apple iPhone 6c, making Phone Arena speculate that it is safe to assume that the possibility of a 4.0-inch iPhone may not be true. It is their tradition actually, but you’ll see if this new iPhone (iPhone 6S or iPhone 7) will hit the company’s target when it launches this Wednesday, September 9.
As usual, we won’t formally know until we have some official details, yet something about this benchmark appears to be off.
